Your information
Privacy at Rightly
A plain-language summary of the information Rightly uses and the details you should keep out of your complaint.
Complaint details and AI
The complaint details you enter are sent to OpenAI so Rightly can generate your draft complaint toolkit. Only include information that is needed to explain your complaint.
Account information
Rightly uses Supabase to provide authentication and store account data, including your profile, credit balance, credit activity and generation status. If you send feedback, Supabase stores its rating and optional feedback text against that generation; Rightly does not copy the complaint text into the feedback record.
Product analytics
Rightly uses Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, aggregated page-view statistics. It does not use analytics cookies or store IP addresses for this feature. Page views containing sensitive authentication parameters are excluded before they are sent.
Separately, if you allow Rightly's optional product analytics, Rightly records basic product actions such as viewing a page, completing login or generating a complaint. That analytics record contains only the action name, time and Rightly web source. It does not include complaint text, feedback text, email addresses, company names, references, amounts, access tokens, API keys or raw user IDs.
Rightly's optional product analytics is off until you choose to allow it and remains a no-op when no analytics provider is configured. You can change your choice using the Analytics choices control. A small consent cookie remembers that choice for up to one year.
Payment information
Rightly does not currently collect payment-card data. Do not enter a full card number in a complaint or contact message.
Sensitive information
Do not submit passwords, full card numbers, medical data, government IDs or other highly sensitive information. Remove unnecessary personal details before generating a draft.
Review every draft
AI-generated drafts may need editing. Check the facts, dates, amounts, recipient and requested outcome before you use or send anything Rightly creates.
